In Japan, Valentine's Day is traditionally a holiday for women to give the special men (husbands, friends, and even co-workers) chocolates to show how much they are appreciated.
So, in the spirit, I gave my valentines a bag of cupid M&Ms or emmies as Grayson calls them, our new family after meal treat, and decided to have Gray help me with a special project for Daddy...... a big chocolate chip cookie.
Yes, we cheated and used pre-made dough.
And of course, we had to nibble on some to make sure it was within standards.
Press them all down.
Put it in the oven.
Decorate, complete with sprinkles.
And voila!
