Oura wan Beach

We finally took our weekend trip to the cottages at Oura wan Beach in northern Okinawa for the my 30th birthday gift.

It was about an hour drive on the express way, and luckily Grayson got over his fear of sand and had a good time digging with his shovels.

The boys get us up so early these days that we had the beach all to ourselves from about 8:30 to 10:30.

Grayson and daddy played near the water while Brayden and I sat under the umbrellas.
We played some fun games of pat-a-cake which he absolutely LOVES!

There was even a little playground up the street from our cottage.

We did a little playing before breakfast and dinner on our second day.

Brayden got to try out his sun tent for the first time.

He kept rolling around so he could dig his toes in the sand. Guess we know who the beach baby is going to be.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip. I've got to frame it!

We don't make a bad picture together either.

Michael made a wonderfully delicious dinner for my birthday too. Steaks, corn, and asparagus off the grill and baked potatoes! He definately is becoming a grill master.

Grayson helped with dinner too by holding the tools.

Even Max thought dinner smelled good!

We squeezed in a few final shots in the morning before we packed to go home.

Next up, Brayden's 3 month pictures.

Nothing is better than beach days with the family, and it's definitely something the boys will always remember. Great pictures!! I'm assuming you left the new camera at home, away from the sand. Homie, I cannot wait for the day where we get to grill together! Love you guys!
