Christmas Weekend

Family photo with Brayden smiling.

Family photo with Grayson smiling. We couldn't seem to get one with both of them smiling, but our Christmas was great non-the-less.

Right after our family photo, the boys looked like this.

You mean I can rip these open and I won't get in trouble!

We broke the world record for longest present opening session. 10 am to 4 pm! One reason why is that both boys had to open and play with each gift before moving on. Then we took an intermission for B to take a nap and Grayson to reevaluate all open presents.

Some of the favorites were the ice cream cone from the new food for Cafe Grayson.

The fire truck, which had a dual purpose to transport zoo animals and also be used as the getaway car for the wise men of the nativity. Scout the puppy was fun too!

Little B got a walker with a cool purple phone built in.

The final display.

The rest of the weekend was spent putting together our larger gift, a train table, (because Santa knows Grayson likes to help with tools) and going to see the Christmas light displays around the island.

We started off with the zoo. It was more of a festival than a light display and it was a zoo!

Grayson was excited to see animals.

And it didn't make a difference to him that the real animals were off limits because he found some of these guys to take pictures with.

His first merry-go-round ride!

The tunnel of love shots.

The next night we went to the Botanical Gardens which were much more relaxed with lots of Christmas music playing and wide open space to enjoy the lights.

We had to take a picture of the surfing cow at the entrance.

Like walking into a fairy tale.

Our storybook family.

Grayson, being obsessed with reindeer this year, wanted to give this guy a kiss.

The love chair.
