Easter

The month of April has been really busy for us so I was happy to not have to make a big holiday at our house. Instead, we were blessed with a wonderful Easter weekend with friends.

Thursday kicked it off with a command picnic and egg hunt. Grayson was so excited about the candy already in the provided basket that he didn't even get one egg...... he was still very happy and had a good time.

Friday, we went with some friends to a fresh egg shop and mini petting zoo. Pictures to come in another post.

Saturday, we colored eggs at home. Zoo Fun was our theme this year. There was a tiger and lion for Gray, a monkey for B, and Kung Fu panda for Daddy plus all the animals in Madagascar. (I love this plate Al and Cathy! Thanks for getting it for us!)

The idea of a simple Easter basket turned into a mini Christmas for the boys. Thanks fam and friends for all the goodies!

This one is for B.

This one is for Gray.

B LOVES cars and was very happy with the 2 new ones the Easter Bunny brought.

After church on Sunday, we went to a delicious Easter brunch and egg hunt at a good friend's house. B found his first egg. He was so happy with it that it was the only one he wanted to pick up.

This time Grayson got the hang of things. He maxed out his allowed number of eggs to find and even got a prize.

All it took was a pretty blonde with big blue eyes to show him what to do. Thanks Zoe!

B still really enjoying his one egg.

Brothers being good.

Brothers looking for trouble.

B playing with Gray's haystack prize.... a very cool game of memory.

This family shot would have been perfect if I had noticed Brayden sticking a whole mini muffin in his mouth before we took it.

Lovin' the pink shirt.

Thanks for the puppets Unc. We made them after naps while daddy was grilling our Easter steaks.

Next up, the month of weddings!
